NINA WACHSMAN
Nina Wachsman studied illustration under Maurice Sendak, which is why there is usually an artist or art theft in her short stories and novels. She is one of the four Curators of Crime authors who blog about art and crime. Her novels of historical mystery set in 17th Century Venice, are based on her own family history, and have been finalists for Agatha, Anthony, and Silver Falchion awards. She has just become a board of Sisters in Crime Worldwide, is a member of the Historial Novel Society, and a member of Womens Fiction Writers Association WFWA). Her short stories of historical fiction have appeared in the Feisty Deeds anthologies of the WFWA, and have been published in the Guppy and TriState Sisters in Crime anthologies, as well as in horror and mystery magazines.
