Level Best Books is currently OPEN to both agented and unagented submissions.

 

Level Best Books is actively seeking well-crafted mystery novels that complement our existing catalogue. We are particularly interested in traditional mysteries, police procedurals, cozies, noir, and other crime fiction driven by strong characters, compelling plots, and a clear sense of place. Submissions should emphasize mystery over graphic content; we do not accept horror or erotica. Stories with originality, emotional depth, and series potential are especially welcome.

Current Response Time: Due to the high volume of submissions, if your manuscript is a good fit
for our company, you can expect to hear directly from us within 6 months. If you have not
heard from us after 6 months, please assume your title is not the right fit for Level Best Books.
