MATTHEW LAVOIE
Matthew Lavoie was raised in Hopkinton, MA, home of the Boston Marathon. He graduated from Ithaca College with both a History degree and no idea what to do with his life. Logically, he got into politics. From there, he fortunately evolved into a fierce advocate for policies boosting trade, innovation, diplomacy, and quality of life across the globe.
Lavoie is a student of motivations and cultural movements that shape the world’s direction and his work reflects that passion. His tales are politically adjacent, not set in the halls of power but in the gritty, real world with a thrilling approach to the undercurrents moving society. He lives in Alexandria, VA, golfs badly, roots for his hometown teams, and is accompanied in most things by his dog, Sherlock.
