Lovely is secretary of the six-state Southeast Regional Chapter of Mystery Writers of America, She also belongs to Sisters in Crime, the Authors Guild, and International Thriller Writers. She lives on a lake in Upstate South Carolina with her husband, and enjoys swimming, gardening, long walks, and, of course, reading.
