Deborah Lacy's short mystery fiction has appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, Blood on the Bayou, the award-winning anthology for the world's largest mystery convention, Mystery Most International, and  many more. She's served on the local organizing committees for several mystery conventions and runs the blog, Mystery Playground. By day she's a strategic communications consultant for Priority Story with a knack for PR.

When she's not reading, editing manuscripts, or writing, Deborah enjoys  playing strategic games, traveling in the footsteps of Agatha Christie,  and exploring the psychology behind what makes a perfect mystery.
