CHRISTINE BAGLEY

Christine Bagley is the author of the short story collection, The Madness of Ida Mae and other stories of love, murder, & misfits  published by Level Best Books. She is the co-editor and co-publisher of Crime Spell Books, and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University in Cambridge. She was a finalist for the Al Blanchard Award for best short crime story, and her work appears in both literary journals and mystery anthologies. These include Bryant Literary Review, The Briar Cliff Review, Untoward Magazine, and numerous stories in Level Best Book anthologies, and Best New England Crime Stories. For nine years, she taught writing and presentation skills to Harvard Medical School physicians and scientists at the Schepens Eye Research Institute where she was also the editor of Eye Contact. Prior to that, she was coordinator and editor of The Medical Services Review at Massachusetts  General Hospital. Her memberships include: Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime New England, and the Short Mystery Fiction Society. She enjoys writing reviews on novels that are intriguing with satisfying  endings, and she swims in any beach she can find. Home is Andover, MA,  with her husband where she writes with the birds outside her window.
