About the Author...
Susan Van Kirk grew up in Galesburg, Illinois and was educated at Knox College and the University of Illinois. She lives in the Midwest and writes during the ridiculously cold and icy winters. Why leave the house and break something? Van Kirk taught forty-four years in high school and college and raised three children. Miraculously, she has low blood pressure. Her writing began with a creative nonfiction memoir titled The Education of a Teacher (Including Dirty Books and Pointed Looks). Her Endurance Mysteries include Three May Keep a Secret, The Locket: From the Casebook of TJ Sweeney (a novella), Marry in Haste, The Witch's Child, and Death Takes No Bribes. Finally, A Death at Tippitt Pond (a Sweet Iron Mystery)was released in June 2019. She is Past President of the Guppy Chapter of Sisters in Crime, and a member of Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America. |
