About the Author...
Justin is a theatre producer, director, and mystery writer. But when all is said and done, he is a storyteller at heart. When not sitting in his library devising new and clever ways to kill people (for his mysteries), Justin can usually be found at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, outside of Washington, DC, where he is one of the owners and Managing Director. In addition to producing, over the years his directing credits have grown to include everything from stagings of classic mysteries like Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None and Frederick Knott's Wait Until Dark to regional premieres of modern day musicals like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Dolly Parton's 9 to 5: The Musical, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. For the 2005 theatre season, Justin wrote his very first interactive murder mystery, A Rock-n-Roll Golden Oldies Mystery, followed by The Case of the Oldest Living Showgirl two years later. These interactive mysteries were so popular that Justin began producing them for events outside of Way Off Broadway, creating the Marquee Mysteries Series which now presents interactive murder mystery events at the theatre, Nora Roberts's Inn Boonsboro, and other venues throughout Western Maryland. After writing nearly 50 interactive mysteries, Justin began work on his first full-length novel. That novel, Now & Then, is the first book in the Parker City Mysteries Series from Level Best Books. Justin and his wife, Jessica, live along Lake Linganore outside of Frederick, Maryland. |
