About the Author...
Jim Fusilli is the author of 11 novels, including The Price You Pay, The Mayor of Polk Street, and its predecessor, Narrows Gate. His short fiction appears in numerous anthologies, including The Best American Mystery Stories. He’s also host and executive producer of the popular podcast Writers at Work, featuring interviews with top authors about the joys, heartaches, challenges, and satisfaction of the creative writing process The former Rock & Pop Critic for The Wall Street Journal, Jim’s book Pet Sounds is his tribute to Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys’ classic album.
